frame-12-01-2017-06-10-29A multi-media artist living near San Antonio, TX, Jeff Bagato produces poetry and prose as well as electronic music, glitch video, sticker art, and pop surrealism paintings. His most recent poetry collection, Savage Magic, was released in 2016; its cover shows a sample of his glitch video work. His other books include a collection of limericks based on H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos, naturally entitled Cthulhu Limericks; a four-part series of erotic dark fantasies set in Ancient Egypt; an on-going series about a dishwasher in space; and the science fiction novels Computing Angels, The Toothpick Fairy, and Kill Claus!. His text and visual work has appeared in Adbusters, Utne Reader, Chiron Review, Otoliths, Angry Old Man, Slipstream, Futures Trading, Stepaway, Rusty Truck, The Five-Two, Midnight Lane Boutique, River River, Ex-Ex Lit, H&, Zoomoozophone Review, Empty Mirror, In Between Hangovers, Streetcake, Clockwise Cat, Your One Phone Call, Zombie Logic Review, Full of Crow, Exquisite Corpse, Open 24 Hours, Malefact, Spoonfed, Shattered Wig Review, and other literary journals. As a freelance writer, he has published articles and reviews in The Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Utne Reader, Option, and other periodicals.

As a musician, he has performed in several music projects including Tone Ghosting (solo electronics), Stylus (turntable ensemble), Mercury Fools the Alchemist (free improvisation trio), For Official Use Only (electronics trio), Bionic Eyes (electronics duo), and Alzo Boszormenyi and the Acid Achievers (7 piece improvising rock band).
