A multi-media artist living near San Antonio, TX, Jeff Bagato produces poetry and prose as well as electronic music, glitch video, sticker art, mail art, and pop surrealism paintings. For 30 years he worked in the DC arts underground, where he was a street artist, zine editor/publisher, and concert organizer. He produced 13 issues of Mole magazine; organized the Electric Possible concert series (and two issues of an offshoot assembling magazine documenting the scene); performed in numerous music ensembles (both ongoing projects like turntable ensemble Stylus and one-off collaborations like JJJJEEEEFFFFFFFF (with Jeff Surak, Jeff Carey, and Jeff Barsky), Noumenal Lingham, BLKw/Bear (Jim Adams), Lung Mountain, Starry Chatter (duo with Dave Vosh) and For Official Use Only (trio with Dave Vosh and Logan Mitchell, Sr.); organized two large mail art exhibitions; organized two exhibitions of thrift store art; etc.
